  When you are experiencing mild to moderate alopecia, hats become a must-have fashion accessory. And for those with AT or AU, hats not only keep your noggin toasty warm, but can be a sexy addition to an outfit. Imagine the sight of a beautiful bald woman or a dashing bald man in a well made fedora. And the lady can add a beautiful pair of earrings. You know, alopecia may just be Mother Nature's way of saying "Bring back the hat!"

Let's be straight. Hats, whether you are experiencing hair-loss or not,
are just playful and fun! Most of the sites in this category have no
alopecia related marketing strategy. They just sell headwear to the
stylish masses. Men love them. Women love them. And men and women love
each oth er in them!
For our purposes we are interested in the different styles the websites
carry and how they can help us alopecians cover our hair-loss without
looking like we are. We also want to know which sites have good return
and exchange policies, and which offer excellent customer service.
For men, there are some occasions when a baseball cap just won't cut
it. And women can dress their heads up for a special formal event, or
down with a hip, sexy, casual look, just by changing their hat. And
kids are also big fans, especially those kids who just have no interest
in wearing a hair piece.

You are our parents, our spouses, our SO's, our families, and our friends. Without you, this could all be so much more dificult. So let's say the most important thing right off the bat... Thank you, gracias, merci, bless you, you rock! However you like to hear it, that's how we mean it. Sometimes in dealing with our own issues, we can forget that our alopecia can be hard an you too.
As you've come here in the first place you've demonstrated your concern and affection for your loved one. And we might well imagine that you would like to gain more understanding and insight itno this mystifying condition of their's. There is a lot of information on this site, with links all over the place to finding out more ways to understand and help the person in your life that is dealing with this disease.
Please register with this site, and spend some time on our Forums. There is a special area reserved just for you. You can meet other Cheerleaders and exchange ideas and suggestions. We know that our disease can be especially hard on the parents of kids and teenagers
